The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine will host Grand Rounds on Tuesday, May 22, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Diagnostic Treatment Center, room 270. Stephen Quinnan, M.D., assistant professor of clinical orthpaedic surgery, will present “Reconstruction and Rehabilitation in Limb Salvage and Limb Lengthening.”

Bassem Elhassan, M.D., associate professor of orthopedics at Mayo Medical School, will present “Shoulder Reconstruction in Patients with Brachial Plexus Injury.”

Michael Norenberg, M.D., professor of pathology, biochemistry and molecular biology, neurology, and neurological surgery and director of neuropathology and neuropathology research, will present “Why the Brain Fails When the Astrocyte Ails.”
